Our newsletter has a new name -- Crafty Talk Magazine. Also, the website underwent a facelift. Come and check it out. We planning some major improvements to the website that will make your visiting experience better than ever. First on our list, we are working on an order tracking system that shop owners can use to communicate to buyers when an order has been received and then shipped.

Interesting Crafty Fact :

First American Art School:

The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts was founded in 1805 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by painter and scientist Charles Willson Peale, sculptor William Rush, and other artists and business leaders. It is the oldest art museum and school in the nation. The Academy's museum is internationally known for its collections of 19th and 20th century American paintings, sculptures, and works on paper. Its archives house important materials for the study of American art history, museums, and art training.

The image to the left is of A U.S. Postage Stamp commemorating the 150th anniversary of the academy. The stamp would have been issued in 1955. Gee -- that was a great price to send a letter.
