3D Family Tree With Tiolet Paper Tube

Make a 3D family tree by using a toilet paper roll tube as the trunk of your tree, then add your family name, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and parents, and cousins. Use your imagination to decorate your 3D family tree with this unique family tree craft idea.

Materials Needed

1. Cardstock -- we cut a triangle from a recycled cereal box

2. Construction Paper (Green for tree and yellow for family name sign)

3. Green glitter glue

4. White paper glue

5. Scissors

Instructions

1. Cut your toilet paper roll tube down to about 2-3 inches tall.

2. Cut out a triangle that will fit all of the names of your family members that make up your family tree.

3. Glue green construction paper to both sides of your cardboard triangle. Cut it out.

4. Write your family name onto a piece of yellow paper. Draw a rectangle around it and cut it out. Glue it to the top center of your tree.

5. Cut out leaves to write the names of your grand parents and pasted them to the top of the tree above the family name sign.

6. Cut out green leaves to paste below the family name sign to represent your parents, aunts and uncles.

7. Cut a slit on opposites sides of your toilet paper roll tube and place your tree into it, to give it a tree trunk base.

8. Cut out strips of paper to glue across the bottom of the tree like a fringe and write the names of your cousins on them. Leave room for the tree trunk toilet paper tube.

9. Now use glitter glue, stickers, and the like to personalize and decorate your 3D family tree!
