    Fourth of July Firecracker
      
    Decorate a firecracker using a toilet paper holder, red white and blue papers and your patriotic imagination. Kids will love running through the yard with this flashy treat. A great craft idea for any fourth of july celebration

    Materials Needed
    1. Toilet paper holder
    2. Tissue paper - Red, blue, white
    3. Metalic ribbon - red, white, and blue
    4. Dow rod
    5. Hole puncher
    6. Yarn or string
    7. Scissors
    8. Crafting jewels
    9. Glue
    10. Stapler

    Instructions
    1. Wrap your toilet paper holder with red tissue paper. Glue or tape it into place.
    2. Cut out long strips of tissue paper and ribbon. Staple them to one end of your toilet paper holder turned into a firecraker.
    3. Cut out stars in white construction paper and glue them to the side of the tube. Add crafting jewels for a sparkly effect.
    4. Glue a strip of blue tissue paper to each end. Glue crafting jewels every inch or so to create more sparkle.
    5. Using a hole puncher, make a hole big enough for your dowel rod to poke through.
    6. Push your dowel rod through and hold it into place by wrapping your string/yarn around the inside and out then tie it in place.
    7. Now you have a fun Fourth of July craft toy that kids will love running through the yard during your Fourth of July celebration!
