Mothers Day Finger Print Card

Make a lovely Mothers Day card for your mom using your own finger prints. Every mom loves flowers, so why not make a handmade mothers day card showcasing petals made from finger prints.

Materials Needed

1. Blank card or fold your own vertical opening card

2. Construction paper - blue an dgreen

3. Aluminum foil

4. Yellow pom pom

5. Scissors

6. Finger paints

7. Tacky glue

8. Bubble paint

Instructions

1. If you blank card is white make a background. We used decorative edging scissors to cut out an oval background with yellow construction paper and glued it to our card.

2. Make the petals - Cut out tear drops. Paint the finger tips of a child and let them plant them painted prints on the petals.

3. Glue the petals to a sheet of aluminum foil. Then cut around the edges leaving the foil as a shiny flower petal border.

4. Cut out a stem and leaves from green construction paper. Glue them to the front of the mothers day card.

5. Glue the petals to the top of the flower.

6. Glue a pom pom to the center of the flower.

7. Add finishing touches, such as drawing the veins of your leaves with a marker.

8. Using bubble paint write a mothers day message such as Happy Mothers Day!
