Wine Glass Candle Wedding Centerpiece

Do it yourself instructions for how to make an elegant wine glass wedding reception centerpiece using a glass wine glass vase, velvet ribbon, leafy flowers, crafting gems, and flower petals. This wedding centerpiece is great to elegant evening weddings.

Materials Needed

1. Large Wine Glass Vase

2. Tea lights - We used 5, but you could use 3 if you have a smaller wine glass vase

3. Pink Velvet Ribbon

4. Acrylic jewels - used for crafting

5. Rose petals - Silk or real

6. Hot glue gun and glue sticks

7. Scissors

8. Water - enough to fill your wine glass vase

Instructions

1. Wrap a single strip of pink velvet ribbon horizontally around the top of your wine glass vase. Using your hot glue gun glue the velvet in place at three places.

2. Wrap the pink velvet ribbon around the base of the wine glass vase, leaving space between the pink ribbon giving a cancy cane stripe feel to it. Apply hot glue to different place keeping it in place.

3. Lay the wine glass in the center of the table. Fill it with water to about one inch from the top. Add your tea lights. We used 5.

4. Spread your rose petals and acrylic jewels out around the base of the wine glass vase. Try to make a design or just leave the rose petals and jewels haphazardly placed. This adds more sparkle and elegance to your wedding reception centerpiece.

5. Pull the tea light wicks up and light them.

6. Now you have an elegant pink wedding reception centerpiece using an oversized wine glass. Enjoy!
