Volleyball St. Patrick's Day Greeting Card

Make your own volleyball St. Patrick's Day card turning volleyballs into gold coins connected to a rainbow volleyball net. Cut out these simple shapes to form this colorful volleyball Shamrock card for your volleyball coach, players, and fans.

Materials Needed

1. Blank White Card or Construction paper to make the card

2. Construction paper - Orange, black. green (dark and mint green), yellow, pink, purple, red (rainbow colors)

3. Scissors

4. Small circular object - 1 inch in diameter to trace

5. Marker and pencil - outline and draw objects for your card

6. Glue

Instructions

1. Make sure your card is folded vertically.

2. Cut out a piece of green paper that covers the face of the card like a background. Cut edges into the green paper to add stylistic features to your greeting card.

3. Glue the background to the face of the card.

4. How to draw a cauldron or pot : draw a half circle that opens outward at the top. Add two legs in the shape of curved rectanbles to the bottom of the pot.

5. How to draw the volleyballs or coins : On orange paper use a salt shaker and draw circles. Using a marker, trace the outline of the circle. Add two lines verticaly from the top, the last one should be more curved to the right. Run opposing lines

6. How to draw the volleyballs or coins : With a marker outline the circles then draw a Y down the middle with the lines curving in opposing directiong. Add three lines in between each line of your Y shape.

7. Make a rainbow volleyball net : Cut out four or five different colors in long thing rectangles that curve up and to the right. Intersect the lines with interchanging colors.

8. Cut out two clouds with white construction paper.

9. Now it is time to put your volleyball St. Patricks Day card together in our cool design. Fill the caldron with volleyballs/coins and run the rainbow volleyball net from the coins to the clouds on the left.

10. Add your shamrocks to the front of the cauldron and on one of your clouds.

11. Add your Happy St. Patricks Day message to the cloud on the left.

12. We suggest adding a shamrock next to a volleyball coin on the inside of your card for an added effect.

13. Now you have made your own volleyball St. Patricks Day card. Good luck to you!
