    Easter Egg Window Greeting Card
      
    Make your own handmade Easter Egg Window Greeting Card to your friends and family with this Easter greeting card craft idea. Find instructions for how to make 3D paper flowers and decorate an Easter Egg to show through the ornate window of your card.

    Materials Needed
    1. Bland white card or construction paper to make a card
    2. Construction paper - pink, blue, yellow, green
    3. Scissors
    4. Egg stencil or draw an oval shaped Easter egg
    5. Glue
    6. Marker - We used black to write the Easter greeting, but you could use other complimentary colors

    Instructions
    1. Glue the yellow background to the front of the card.
    2. Make sure your card is folded vertically.
    3. Cut out a sheet of yellow paper glued onto the card as a background. We cut curves in the background to add some ornate touches.
    4. Draw an egg in a blue sheet of construction paper using an egg stencil or just drawing a large oval that fills up about 3/4ths of the card.
    5. Open the card and trace the Easter egg you cut out of the blue paper. Cut it out so there is a window looking through the front of the card in the shape of the egg.
    6. Lay your blue egge onto green paper and trace it. use the tracing to cut out a donut like circle. Lay the green circle outside of the window created, so that it serves as a window frame.
    7. You can make another green paper frame for the inside too.
    8. Cut curvey strips with pink paper and paste them to your blue egg. The center one should be thick enough to display your Happy Easter greeting.
    9. Cut the edges of the pink so that the paper egg maintains its shape as an Easter egg.
    10. Paste the blue Easter Egg to the inside of your card so that when you close the card it peeks through the egg shaped window.
    11. Paste the green egg frames around the window and the inside egg.
    12. How to draw and cut out paper flowers - Draw two intersecting bows, that will for the petals of your paper flower, on construction paper. It should like like a cross. Cut them out and paste yellow circles in the center. Fold the petals to the cent
    13. Paste the flowers on the outside rim of the window and over top of the green paper frame.
    14. Write Happy Easter in the center of your Easter Egg.
    15. Now you have a 3D window card to give to your friends at Easter time!
