Instructions To Make A Angel Ornament With Bow Wings :
1. Take about three feet of white ribbon and form it into a bow. The strangling ends will be folded up and ticked into the bow to form the angel wings. Try to keep the four quadrant of wings evenly distributed.
2. Paper mache your small styrofoam ball with orange tissue paper. Cut out small strips and dip on side in a puddle of glue, then affix it to the ball. Now you have the head.
3. Cut out at least three strands of yellow yarm about 2-3 inches long. Make streaks of glue along the top hairline and glue 12 strands.
4. Flip the flowing pieces over and make a second row underneath. Only glue about 1 inch of the yarn to the head, so the reads flows freely. Do a third row along the bottom. Now your angel should have a layed mane of yarn hair.
5. Using a skewer poke a hole from the bottom of the angel doll head to the top. String your white chenille stem through it. Wrap the top into a white angel halo.
6. Wrap the bottom half of the chenille stem around the center of the bow. Twist the chenille stem at the top and try to form a shoulder with it.
7. Glue the bottom half of your angel wings into place, so they do not pop out.
8. Cut out a dress shape in your white felt. Glue silver ribbon to the top of dress and the bottom of the dress.
9. To make the praying arms : cut out two rectangles in your white felt. Cut out your mitton like hands from orange felt. Glue the hands to the felt. Glue the silver ribbon to the end of the sleeve. Glue the hands together. Glue the ends of the arm
10. Place the back of the dress face down. Lay your angel wings and head in the middle. Apply glue to the top and bottom borders of the dress. Include glue on the chenille stem as well.
11. Lay the dress with the praying arms face up and force the glued parts together until the glue takes hold.
12. Cut out a four inch pice of your thin silver ribbon. Lace it through the halo and glue the ends together on the top. This step will allow you to hang your angel on your Christmas tree.
13. Now you have made an elegant angel ornament that uses a decorative bow for her ornate angel wings that will bring Christmas joy to your home this holiday season!
