Butterfly Flower Girl Hair Barret

Make a hair barret for your flower girl by turning a craft bow into a butterfly and gluing it to a metal barret. All you need is crafting ribbon, a metal barret, pipe cleaner, and glue for this elegant wedding craft designed for the hair of your special little flower girl.

Materials Needed

1. Long metal Hair barret for a little girl

2. Thick crafting ribbon - pick ribbon in your wedding colors

3. Pipe cleaner - we used black, but any complimentary color will work perfectly.

4. Hot glue gun

Instructions

1. Make a fluffy bow out of your crafting ribbon. Do not tighten it.

2. Lace your pipe cleaner through the top of the knot of the bow. You may want to intertwine two thin pipe cleaners for a more colorful effect.

3. Fold the free strands of your bow up and tuck them into your lose not. Glue them into place.

4. Tighten your butterfly bow knot and shape it so that the good side of your ribbon shows out and forms evenly distributed butterfly wings.

5. Glue your butterfly bow to your metal barret using a hot glue gun.

6. You may want to make two matching butterfly bow barrets by repeating the process. Another option would be gluing your butterfly bow to a little girl headband.

7. Now you have a beautiful and elegant flower girl hair style that will be the hit at your Spring or Summer wedding!
