    Christmas Tree Card With Stickers

Make this paper Christmas tree card to help kids learn shapes and sizes. Have fun decorating your Christmas tree card with Christmas stickers that act as Christmas ornaments. A perfect card for the kids to make for their grandparents, teachers, and friends.
    Time to Complete : < 30 minutes
    Difficulty : Easy
Submitted By : Crafty Shops Creative Staff
    Materials Needed
    1. Card stock - premade or fold your own holiday greeting card
    2. Construction paper (red, green, brown)
    3. Tin foil to make Christmas ball ornaments and a star
    4. Scissors
    5. Glue
    6. Christmas stickers - smallest and glitziest the better

    Instructions
    1. If your Christmas card is white, measure a background piece and cut it out of red construction paper. Make frayed edges or curvy edges to add flare.
    2. Paste the background to your Christmas tree card.
    3. Draw and cut out a large triangle, then make two more green triangles with each one smaller than the other triangle. Make sure that your tree fits your card when it opens vertically, leaving about an inch and a half around the edges.
    4. Make small half inch cuts at the bottom of each triangle to give it a douglas fur 3D Christmas tree affect using paper.
    5. Cut out a small rectangle and paste it to the card to represent the trunk of your 3D Christmas tree.
    6. Paste the large triangle first, then the middle triangle and the top triangle until you have formed a three layer Christmas tree with paper.
    7. Draw a star into your tin foil. Cut it out and paste it with the shiny side up on top of your Christmas tree.
    8. Cut out little circles and glue them to your tree to represent Christmas ball ornaments.
    9. Lastly, stick your Christmas stickers to the tree to add the finishing touch. Toddlers and small children will love helping mom, dad or a grandparent with this step.
    10. Write Merry Christmas across the top of your card and you now have a 3D Christmas tree card made with stickers!
