    3D Wreath Christmas Card

Make a 3D wreath Christmas card that will surprise your friends and family on your next Christmas card list. All you need is green yarn, aluminum foil, paper, and your Christmas spirit. Gluing green yarn to the face of your card provides a raised image of a Christmas wreath and makes this a very unique handmade Christmas card idea.
    Time to Complete : < 30 minutes
    Difficulty : Easy
Submitted By : Crafty Shops Creative Staff
    Materials Needed
    1. Green yarn
    2. Aluminum foil
    3. Construction paper - Red
    4. Scissors - regular or also the kind that creates the fancy edging
    5. Glue
    6. Pencil
    7. Tacky glue
    8. Crafting knife for making exact cuts into paper.
    9. Card stock

    Instructions
    1. Form your card or use a precutt card that you can buy at any walmart or card making supplies store.
    2. Take a red piece of paper and use the face of your card as a guide to measure a rectangle into the red paper. Cut it out when finished.
    3. Use edging scissors or reguar scissors to make uniformly curvey or decorative edges around the red rectangle.
    4. Draw into the red piece of paper fancing shapes about a half inch from the edge of the red paper. Use your knife to cut those pieces out.
    5. Cut out strips of tin foil wide enough and long enough to lay over the opening to the fancing frame shapes you made within your red paper.
    6. Glue the foil to the back of your red paper and let dry. Retain your foil scraps for the finishing touches to your handmade fancy wreath Christmas card.
    7. Glue the red paper with the good side showing to the face of your Christmas card.
    8. In the center of your card, use a pencil to make distinctive lines with half arcs to form a wreath.
    9. Using those pencil lines as a guide, apply tacky glue and then attach green yarn to the tacky glue marks.
    10. You should have a wreath on the front of your Christmas card.
    11. Now to decorate your wreath cut out a few small circles in the aluminum foil as well as a small bow. Glue them to the wreath.
    12. Now you have a fancy, silvery 3D wreath Christmas Card to send to family and friends on your Christmas card list.
