    Flashy Turkey Thanksgiving Card

Add some flash and pizzazz to your Thanksgiving holiday by making a flashy turkey Thanksgiving Day card. All you need is some foil, colored paper, a hole puncher, scissors, your fingers and creative Thanksgiving Day spirit.
    Time to Complete : < 30 minutes
    Difficulty : Easy
Submitted By : Crafty Shops Creative Staff
    Materials Needed
    1. Card stock
    2. A sheet aluminum foil - enough to cover the front face of the card.
    3. Multiple colors of construction paper (blue, orange, yellow, brown, purple)
    4. Scissors
    5. Glue
    6. Hole puncher
    7. Guides for making one large circle and a smaller circle.
    8. 1 set of funny eyes

    Instructions
    1. Apply glue to the top front face of your card. Lay a sheet of aluminum foil over it and smooth it out. Let it dry before adding the paper turkey to the top of the card.
    2. Lay a set of fingers onto a sheet of blue colored paper and trace the fingers, leaving about an inch of the base. Make sure that you spread the fingers wide apart.
    3. Cut out the traced fingers and repeat this step with another sheet of paper of a different, but complimentary color. Make sure that the fingers are spread apart at the same distance as the first tracing.
    4. Use the hole puncher and chop holes in the fingers, so that the feathers of the turkey flash on your Thankgiving card.
    5. Lay the hands on top of each other in a fashion that the bottom set of fingers are not overshadowed by the top set of fingers. Glue the two together. When dry cut a one inch arch around the bottom of the turkey feathers. Then glue it to your handm
    6. Cut out a large circle that will fit over the lower portion of your fathers, but not hang too far across the bottom of your card. This will become the feathery body of your paper turkey.
    7. Make a small crease in your turkey body and cut a carrot shaped indent into the brown circular body. Repeat this across the surface of the circle.
    8. Fold down the creased cuts to let the shiney silver aluminum foil show through to give the appearance of shiney turkey feathers on your card.
    9. Paste the large circle to your Thanksgiving card. Be sure to just dab drops of glue around the parts of the circle not holding the creased cuts.
    10. Cut out a circle approximately a third of the size of the first circle to make your paper turkey head. Glue it to your card by overlapping it on the large brown cricle and the turkey feathers above it.
    11. Cut out two small yellow circles, a small orange triangle and a yellow arch. Cut slits in the yellow arch. Glue the pieces the turkey face and finish it all off with a set of funny eyes on the face.
    12. For a border - cut out 1 inch wide yellow strips. Fold the strips down the middle. Apply glue to each inner side of the folded strips. Then apply them to the outer edges of your Flashy Turkey Thanksgiving Day Card.
