Gazebo Milk Carton Birdhouse
  
Create an elegant gazebo birdhouse from a simple milk carton for your feathered bird friends.

Materials Needed
1. Clean, empty milk carton
2. Cutting device (requires adult when using it)
3. White, pink, and green construction paper.
4. Scissors
5. Glue

Instructions
1. Cut out rectangles on each vertical side of the milk carton. Be sure to leave at least one inch as the frame for the birdhouse gazebo.
2. Poke a hole through the top and string up your bird house, so you can hang it in the wind. Do not forget to add birdseed for the birds to feed on.
3. Cut out flowers and butterflies to add spring time colors and adventure to your gazebo milk carton birdhouse.
4. Now you can add a roof to your milk carton gazebo by cutting out a large square that when it is glued to the edge of the milk carton it hangs over it.
5. Glue the lattice to your milk carton corners. Line of the lattice fold with the fold in the milk carton. Be sure to put glue on the paper and the milk carton, then press really hard until the paper sticks unassisted to the milk carton.
6. Cut out strips of white and Glue them across the bottom and the top of your gazebo sides. Be sure to add glue to the paper and the milk carton, then press down and count to 10 to make sure that the glue adheres to the milkcarton, if it is covered wi
7. Adding vines to your lattice, cut out strips of green paper and intertwine them up the sides of your lattice.
8. When you unfold the paper, you will see the lattice forming for the sides of your gazebo birdhouse. flatten the paper so that only the first fold is prevelent.
9. Along the fold, cut rectangular blocks into the paper. Do this for each of the four strips of paper.
10. Take a white strip and fold it twice along the vertical side.
11. Measure your milk carton from the bottom to the top of each side. Cut out 4 strips of white paper that are as long as the measurement you found.
12. Poke a hole through the top and string up your bird house, so you can hang it in the wind. Do not forget to add birdseed for the birds to feed on.
