Wedding Countdown Wreath
Have your guests help the wedding couple make a countdown wreath that marks each day left until the wedding date. The wreath can be used as a decoration at the wedding itself and to decorate the home of the married couple.
Time to Complete :
< 30 minutes
Difficulty :
Easy
Submitted By :
Crafty Shops Creative Staff
Materials Needed
1. Basic wreath bought at a store or made yourself.
2. Card Stock with envelopes
3. Decorative paper (colors that compliment the wreath or the wedding colors)
4. Hole puncher
5. Ribbon
6. Glue
Instructions
1. Buy an already made wreath or make it yourself adorned with flowers using the wedding day colors.
2. Decorate the outside of the envelopes with numbers. Use as many as you would like. We suggest having as many days or weeks left between the bridal shower and the wedding day.
3. Allow your guests to write inspirational comments and advice for the bride and groom on each of the cards.
4. Place the cards into the envelopes.
5. Punch a hole in the corner of the envelope trying not to hit the cards, so the bride and groom can easily remove the cards from the envelopes.
6. Lace ribbon through each of the holes and tie the ribbon around the wreath in the order of the numbers labeled on the cards.
7. Now you have a festive decoration that will entertain your guests and the bride and groom as they countdown the days until their special wedding day to arrives.
