Natural Dyed Easter Egg Animal

How to dye easter eggs with natural ingredients like coffee and make cute egg animals.

Materials Needed

1. A pot of black coffee

2. White vinegar

3. raw eggs

4. Pot to boil water on the stove

5. black yarn

6. construction paper (pink, brown, white)

7. Glue

8. scissors

9. Funny eyes

Instructions

1. Pour black coffee into a pot

2. Add 2 teaspoons of vinegar for every cup of coffee

3. Add eggs and boil on the stove for 30 minutes. The egg dying agent in the coffee will attach to the shell of the eggs.

4. Cut out two ears. Paste two pieces of the brown ears together and fold the bottom pieces out. Glue the inside of the bottom pieces to the top of the egg, to form the ears.

5. Attach the eyes below the ears.

6. To make the whiskers, cut 4 strips of yarn that are 2 inches long. Tie the pieces of yarn together in the center with another piece of yarn. Cut a shape like an anchor out of the pink paper. The bottom of the anchor will form the mouth. Paste the

7. As a tip, use the egg carton to position your egg, so you can glue the whiskers, mouth, eyes, and ears to the outer shell of the Easter egg.
