Holiday Puzzle Card

Celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas or the 8 days of Hannukah with a cute puzzle code. Transform a photo into a fun work of puzzle art.

Materials Needed

1. Photo of any size with your favorite person or scene on it

2. Cardboard from an empty cereal box or another card

3. Glue

4. Scissors

5. pencil

6. Strips of construction paper

Instructions

1. Print your favorite photo. Use printing tools to add a message like Merry Christmas or Happy Hannukah.

2. Glue your photo to the back of a piece of cardboard that is larger than you photo.

3. Cut strips of construction paper. Fold the strips in half, cup the strips around the photo and glue them in place making a border for your holiday photo puzzle.

4. Turn the photo over to the cardboard side and draw lines that will be used to separate the photo into a puzzle. If possible, let each puzzle piece touch the border. Draw tabs into your puzzle design to help connect the pieces later.

5. Cut our your puzzle pieces using the pencil lines as a guide.

6. Now you have a holiday puzzle card. Whether you separated your puzzle into 8 pieces for Hannukah or 12 pieces for Christmas. Wrap each piece, so that the receiver of your puzzle card can open them on each night of the holiday and eventually form th
