Ballerina Finger Puppet

Follow our easy directions for how to make your ballerina finger puppet craft. This fun ballerina kid craft is great girl party activity, especially with your ballerina class. Once you make your ballerina finger puppets, you can act out your favorite ballet together.

Materials Needed

1. Card board from used cereal boxes

2. Bubble wrap

3. Fabric Ribbon

4. Needle and Thread

5. Construction Paper

6. Glue

7. Scissors

8. Markers

9. Hole puncher

10. Nail polish

Instructions

1. To start making your ballerina finger puppet, paste a flesh colored piece of construction paper to one of the your piece of cardboard.

2. Draw the torso of a ballerina complete with a arms, head, upper body and legless bottom, then cut it out.

3. Cut a piece of fabric ribbon to make the bodice of the dress that will connect to the ballerina tutu.

4. Below the bodice punch two finger size holes where you would provide the legs as your dangling fingers.

5. Add hair and other pretty accents to your ballernia to make her more lively.

6. Cut 2 inch wide strips of fabric ribbon and bubble wrap.

7. Glue the fabric ribbon to the flat side of the bubble wrap.

8. Fold the bubble wrap/fabric ribbon combination accordian style.

9. Near the top, push a needle and thread through the accordian to maintain the shape.

10. Spread the ballerina tutu skirt across the front of your ballerina and permanently hot glue it into place.

11. Now just paint your nails and push your fingures in the finger holes to bring your ballerina to life.
